  • Verify that you meet the criteria, can supply all required documents and data, and can meet the deadlines.

02. Crafting a Compelling Application:

  • Addressing the Problem: Clearly define the problem you’re addressing, how you will solve it, and why your approach is unique.
  • Aligning with Funding Goals: Show how your project meets or exceeds the funding organisation’s goals and priorities.
  • Demonstrating Impact: Explain the expected impact and how you’ll measure and report it.

03. Organising Your Application:

  • Structure: Follow a clear structure, including a summary, goals, objectives, timeline, and financial plan.
  • Clarity and Simplicity: Write in plain English, avoid jargon, but provide necessary details to ensure a strong response.

04. Showcasing Your Expertise:

  • Highlight your organisation’s past work and expertise to demonstrate your capability to deliver the project successfully.

05. Proofreading and Editing:

  • Thoroughly proofread and edit your application.
  • If possible, have someone else review your application to catch any errors or inconsistencies.

06. Providing Evidence and Research:

  • Attach supporting information, either as an appendix or as individual uploads.
  • Make it easy for reviewers to follow the document with hyperlinks or well-labelled files.
  • Use relevant data, community surveys, feedback, and research to back up your claims.
