At Tender Response, we understand that navigating new government systems can be daunting, especially when they directly impact your ability to bid for public sector contracts. With the introduction of the GOV.UK One Login, many suppliers are unsure how to access critical information like their PPON or generate a Share Code. That’s why we’ve created this practical guide, to help you stay compliant, connected, and confident in your procurement journey. We’ve even got a hot link straight through to Cabinet Office to get you started on your journey.

What is a PPON?

Your PPON is a unique reference number assigned to your organisation when you register on a public procurement portal. It helps buyers and procurement systems identify your business across tenders and frameworks.

You’ll typically need your PPON when:
– Completing supplier registration forms
– Responding to tenders on platforms like Jaggaer, Atamis, or Find a Tender
– Sharing your organisation’s details with buyers or partners

Where to Find Your PPON

The location of your PPON depends on which procurement portal you’re using. Here’s how to find it on the most common platforms:

1. Jaggaer (e.g. NHS, MOD, CCS)

– Log in to your supplier account
– Go to “My Organisation” or “Supplier Profile”
– Look for a field labelled “Organisation ID” or “PPON”

2. Atamis (used by many NHS Trusts and local authorities)

– Sign in to your Atamis supplier portal
– Navigate to your Organisation Details
– Your PPON may appear as “Supplier ID” or “Organisation Reference”

3. Find a Tender / Contracts Finder

These platforms don’t assign a PPON directly. Instead, check the procurement portal (e.g. Jaggaer or Atamis) linked to the tender you’re responding to.

Still Can’t Find It?

Then it’s likely that you’re not registered on the base platform yet.

  • Register your company here.
  • Check your registration confirmation emails
  • Complete your Company Profile, and your PPON will be populated.
