At Tender Response, we understand that navigating new government systems can be daunting, especially when they directly impact your ability to bid for public sector contracts. With the introduction of the GOV.UK One Login, many suppliers are unsure how to access critical information like their PPON or generate a Share Code. That’s why we’ve created this practical guide—to help you stay compliant, connected, and confident in your procurement journey.
To get started, visit the GOV.UK One Login page.
Once registered, you can use this login across multiple government services, replacing older systems like Government Gateway.
Your PPON is a unique identifier used in public procurement platforms like Jaggaer, Atamis, or Find a Tender. It’s typically linked to your organisation’s supplier profile.
To find it:
– Log in to the relevant procurement portal (e.g. Find a Tender).
– Navigate to your organisation profile or supplier dashboard.
– Look for a field labelled PPON, Organisation ID, or Supplier ID.
If you’re unsure, contact the support team of the procurement platform you’re registered with—they can confirm your PPON.
A Share Code allows you to securely share your identity or organisation details with government services or buyers.
To generate one:
Share Codes are typically valid for 30 days and can be used only once.
– Keep your login credentials secure and enable two-factor authentication.
– If you manage multiple supplier accounts, ensure each has a unique GOV.UK One Login.
– Bookmark the GOV.UK One Login help page for troubleshooting and updates.
– Never share your login details! If you do need to share with someone else, always use a secure password-sharing tool
We’re here to help.
